Basil garlic roasted pumpkin seeds

Pumpkins are always a part of fall cooking. Whenever you have pumpkin pie, you'll have pumpkin seeds. Don't throw them out! Sugar pie pumpkin seeds are more delicate and can be eaten whole. They are crispy and delicious in this recipe. A great snack on the go!


All Ingredients

½ cup (77g) pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp (16g) basil garlic puree See Recipe


  1. Preheat the oven to 400F degrees. 1 minute
  2. Rinse the pumpkin seeds of any pumpkin residue. Remove any stringy pumpkin fibers. 1 minute
  3. In 2 cups of water, add 1.5 teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil. 5 minutes
  4. Add the clean pumpkin seeds and simmer for 10 minutes. 10 minutes
  5. Drain the pumpkin seeds and toss with the basil garlic puree. 1 minute
  6. In a baking pan lined with foil, spread a single layer of seeds on the foil. 1 minute
  7. Roast the seeds for about 15 minutes until the seeds are crispy. 15 minutes
  8. Enjoy immediately or save for later!
