Fried banana in strawberry beer batter with salted caramel ice cream

It's known that strawberry and banana go well together and we've done it here using strawberry beer to make the batter. The salted caramel ice cream balances the hot, crispy fried bananas.

INGREDIENTS

All Ingredients

5 (565g) bananas, ripe
½ cup (75g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp (6g) sugar
cup (172g) beer, strawberry flavor
1 (50g) egg
2 cups (266g) salted caramel ice cream

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Using a whisk, mix the flour, sugar, beer, and eggs until a smooth batter has formed. 1 minute
  2. Slice the bananas into 1/4 inch slices on the diagonal and dip the slices in the batter. 3 minutes
  3. In a saucepan, heat up 1/2 inch of oil on medium heat until hot. 7 minutes
  4. Fry the battered bananas in oil about 30 seconds on each side until golden brown. 10 minutes
  5. Serve with ice cream immediately! 1 minute
