Salty Soy Milk


Salty soy milk

This is often served for breakfast at food stalls in Taiwan.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients

1 cup (245g) unsweetened soy milk
¼ tsp (2g) white pepper, ground
2 tbsps (18g) vegetarian shredded pork
1 tsp (4g) sesame oil
1 tbsp (18g) soy sauce
1 tbsp (15g) vinegar
1 (47g) Chinese braised egg, chopped
1 tsp (5g) cilantro, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Microwave the soy milk until boiling hot, approximately 1-2 minutes.
  2. While the soy milk is heating, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, and white pepper in a serving bowl.
  3. Pour the soy milk into the serving bowl, top with the chopped eggs, shredded pork and cilantro. Enjoy immediately!
