Gruyere Brulee


Gruyere brulee

This creative appetizer is inspired by Nicholas Cantrel's battle on Iron Chef.

INGREDIENTS

All Ingredients

1 block (60g) Gruyere cheese, small block about 1"x1"x4"
1 tsp (4g) sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cut the cheese into four 1" cubes.
  2. Sprinkle a thin layer of sugar on each cube.
  3. Caramelize the sugar using a brulee torch.
  4. Serve as appetizer or dessert!
