Simple Hot & Sour Noodles

Here's something fast and doesn't require a whole lot of ingredients. In this recipe, I've used Chinese sliced noodles, which you can buy dry at most Chinese supermarkets. You can use any type of noodle you like.


Sauce for each serving/bowl of noodles:
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp chili sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp chopped zha cai (
1 tbsp cilantro, minced
1 tbsp scallion, minced


  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions.
  2. In a serving bowl, mix the sauce while the noodles are cooking.
  3. Once cooked, strain the noodles from its cooking liquid.
  4. Toss the noodles in the sauce and top with scallions and cilantro.
  5. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for later.
